Eyes & Ears Have It
In this morning's e-mail, I received some pleasing news from Bill Thompson's Eye on Books. Bill Thompson's Eye is a Hot Site in USA TODAY (today!) And if you check out Bill's photo gallery, that's me, bridging the gap between Pat Buchanan and Calvin Trillin. My conversation with Bill is easy to find (and hear) in the author index.

Weekend World
Turkish Readers
Friday March 15, there's an author profile in the daily newspaper, Milliyet. Look for it in the weekend book supplement. The reporter is Sebnem Seyener.

In France: Media Tour (and my first Euros)
We're celebrating the publication of Journal d'une call-girl, translated by Dov Rueff and published by Florent Massot Presente this week... So far, the response has been wonderful! More info to come about French media in the following weeks. I will be featured in Technikart, in Playboy and on Thierry Ardisson's news show "Rive Droite Rive Gauche." And I've seen Euro bank notes for the first time ever. It's always exciting to discover a new currency. Especially when the conversion rate renders your pocket calculator redundant... for once.

Jumping to Conclusions?
Just discovered this quirky commentary by Marilyn Jaye Lewis, a regular columnist for the Erotic Readers & Writers Association. Her take on Nancy Chan is sooo West Side -- I mean that in a good way! Check it out.

Also, MJL's review of "Diary" can be found in the Literate Slut column at Mind Caviar.
And she has a happening website where you can keep up on all her latest!

Radio: This Week in Houston
If you're a regular listener, you may have heard my interview with Pat Hernandez on Saturday morning. (Three stations carry Pat's show: KIKK-FM, KILT-FM and KILT-AM.You have to be around Houston to hear it because Infinity stations don't provide internet listening at this time.)

My interview will air again Sunday evening March 3 on KILT-610AM. Talking to Pat was lots of fun!
